Katie Glynn opened the doors to her shop on the High Street in Reigate, in December 2014. Having worked in the lingerie business for many years, she knew only too well that customer loyalty and retention only comes from unprecedented levels of personal service. “Managing my customers comes first, before managing my business” says Katie. This is so key, which is why she chose LOIS to partner her, not just for the in store EPoS, but also for her integrated eCommerce website. “I needed the simplest, most effective tool, to save time on data input – LOIS with it’s ‘one-stop-shop’ system, means no doubling up of work for shop and web, everything is live and available to me wherever I am”.

“The level of personal service I give to my customers in store, is how I feel that I am treated back by the guys at LOIS – one to one. It’s the feeling that your business is not just appreciated, but that they have gone the extra mile to make sure that I am happy. I’ve had several of my own customers shed tears of joy after making a successful purchase from me, which can be quite overwhelming. You have to pinch yourself, when you realise that it is your own hard work, that has resulted in your customer feeling so happy with their purchases. The team at LOIS are on the same wavelength. They have guided me since day one, even making sure that I chose the right hardware for point of sale, maintaining the aesthetics in-store.”

Katie uses the LOIS fully integrated website platform, for her fast growing online business. “I can’t believe that people from all over the planet, find and buy from our little business via our website” says Katie. “I am so excited by the growth of sales on our website; It’s an area where we are now seeking more help from LOIS, to strategize and drive the business upwards.”

75 years of collective heritage across a range of Fashion retail is no small achievement – Ashworth & Bird has thriving stores in both the UK and Channel islands.

In 2013 the company approached LOIS to merge all systems and streamline IT operations.

Neil Tennant UK stores General Manager described the challenges to switch 3 separate retail systems into one without business interruption as mind boggling.

4 years on and with ecommerce and new stores added to the mix the partnership between Ashworth & Bird and LOIS continues to grow.

“LOIS gives us control across the stores in the UK and the Channel Islands from one interface. With almost departmental type diversity across our group of stores that includes high end fashion, surfing, kids wear and accessories, we benefit from a single live system that spans the different tax regimes in the UK and Channel Islands and covers complex product dispatch for our ecommerce operations, as well as product replenishment across our various sites”.

Recently opened in St Peter port in Guernsey, the new SuperDry store is owned and managed by seasoned high street retailer Marc Muebeck. Marc already has another very successful fashion store called Holeshot on the island. Marc says ” we switched EPOS provider 3 years ago in favour of LOIS. Process and reporting are critical to the way we do business and so it was only natural to extend LOIS to our new Superdry store. The store opened on 6th May with a queue of eager shoppers. LOIS set everything up in preparation for the stampede and we had quite a fantastic first day.
